What is the responsibility of partners for 50 years, when one of the members needs help, the others come to their assistance!
But all of a sudden, the new thinking is, ''It's a new and dangerous world now, we have protect our selves, and not venture out beyuond our capability to defend our selves while helping others where we might be attacked.''
The fact that America foots most of all the bills and man power in the alliance, but this is lost on these European members.
It has always been standard operating procedure, until now!
