Sure, this us just a cartoon, but it does bring up a question about church doctrine! Many believe this doctrine of denial has been established and sanctified in and threw church history for hundreds of years.
But the church has an on-going festering question for some of it's programs for establishing some kind of special connection to what God had in mind for the prevarication of the soul which make it easer to make the connection to God Himself.
The Pope has a special connection? He is just another human with all of its flaws, Right?
The the purification of one's soul by denying nature and therefore proving that the denial is justification for telling others what is right and what is wrong with in their lives! But the quesiton remains, can the denial be real or an escape from reality.
But hey, it a choice! Chose with no regret!
