That she even thought it would work tells the story about who she is and what she brought to her new country, a culture of stealing what ever you think you can get away with and kill if necessary for the same reasons.
America, the people and culture here are ripe for the picking! And she and her kind were very busy!!
But it stands to reason, everyone in Somalia is born a thief and now, living in America, Ilhan believes she truly is in paradise. Where everything is free for the taking and no one to stop her, until now!
The culture is truly centuries if not 1000's of years old, and embedded so no one can escape its reach!
