Pete Buttigieg believes he can make things happen simply by wishing them to be so. Much of his gay life has been dependent on the general population conforming to what ever the gay community wants, demands they accept his status because he is not just different but a man that has a special difference.
But There is a huge section of the population that find his difference on the edge of impossible to like or except as normal and therefore won't vote from him.
