Here it's the message that makes the base voter genuflect in obedience to the will of leadership. To many in the crowd of mindless democraaats they will do whatever they are told even if it means they will be placing themselves in harm's way, now in the present and future, they will do whatever is necessary to remain good soldiers even to the death.
Of course they won't know this is the situation, they will just be glad they have obediently secure in their minds done the right thing just like they always have, generation after generation, they vote democraaat!
Sorry, it's just easier that way. Make the mark and then leave the booth. It's a good secure feeling!
