Democrat 80/50 CO2 Plan Costs In California : Gruberism Enforced

First of all, North Korea is not a developing country as this article states, North Korea is a waste land based on a communist idea that the power to produce success is top down and not bottom up. The people become the enemies of the state if they decide their leadership is not preforming in the best interest of the people.

This 80/50 ruling in California, an 80% reduction in CO2 by 2050 is similar to what is happening in North Korea, and for that matter, the rest of this country. The ruling elite have decided what's best for everyone and if the people don't like what they see and oppose the elite, they are attacked, i.e. the IRS, DOJ and the FBI attacking Republican and Conservative groups during the 2012 presidential election.

That the leading democrat  presidential hopefuls, and the governor of California and many other democrat legislators, have gone all in on this carbon emissions proposal but have refused to provide a cost is just part and parcel of what Mr Gruber did when he said 'the only way we could get the Affordable Care Act (ACA) to pass was to lie to the people'.

It seems nothing has changed for the progressive socialist liberal democrat leadership as they are now coming out front and center proposing a law that relies on the stupidity of the voting public, as Mr Gruber did on the ACA, to get this 80/50 tax, refusing to acknowledge the costs involved in this plan which would destroy economic life as we know it.

Where's the press outrage on this? What about Republican outrage?

This is just more evidence that the progressive democrats are not interested in what's best  for the country, and always has been, it's about what will be beneficial for them and other progressive socialist democrats, by reducing the options of the citizens to make personal decisions. a democrat legacy.

California governor Jerry Brown, along with other prominent democrats such as President Obama, Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders want to cut carbon-dioxide emissions by 80% by 2050 (80 by 50) to levels of that of developing countries such as North Korea.

Earlier this month the California Assembly rejected a bill that would have required the state to reduce emissions by 80%. In addition, all of the candidates seeking the Democratic nomination for president support this emissions reduction program.

What would 80 by 50 mean for individuals? Residents of California are responsible for the emission of about 9.42 tons of carbon dioxide per capita per year, the program would cut those emissions to 1.88 tons by 2050. Achieving 80 by 50 on a national basis will be even more painful, as the national average is 16.15 tons per capita. Wind and solar energy cannot be the solution. Their land-use requirements are enormous, they can't store large quantities of electricity and their transmission is intermittent. Nuclear energy is doing more to cut carbon-dioxide emissions than any other form of energy, but Democratic politicians and their supporters decry it.

None of the plan's supporters has provided a cost estimate but it's likely that it would cost more than $5 trillion. In short, the leading Democrat contenders for the White House, have endorsed an agenda that will have a massive cost. Yet not one of them has provided a credible plan for achieving such reductions without wrecking the economy. They do not even discuss a plan that is affordable and technically viable because that is a very unlikely scenario.
