Again, it just a matter of what you believe is true and what you want to believe is true. For democrxxxts it's what ever they are told is true is good enough. Their sources for information are kept to a trusted and controlled minimum. 

Too much information leads to confusion of the accepted narrative.

For most democrxxxts, realty is just a proclamation of reality, all else is fiction. 

Basic biology is not reality, but a fiction of what is necessary
for the survival of the accepted narrative for the defination
of what science is and fits the new normal of the group!
