This seems a little over the top but the question that remains is, why stop there, why not make it legal to kill even after the birth? Who cares?
It would of course be against the law as the child is breathing on its own, but hey, if you are democrxxxt, it shouldn't matter how illegal it might be, they are all democrxxxts and therefore above the law!
Again, get it done! Who Cares?
