The promised land is where we all understand security is found in what has gone before. The way forward is risky and foreboding. Scary. Even in the face of a land of milk and honey that has already can be seen as a reality, citizens enjoyed plenty of everything, the promises of new leadership is now to bring back pestilence and failure.
Many are rewarded for believing but many also doubted the new way forward was going to be better then what was left behind.
Still, if history is any guide to what will happened in the future, we all should remember what happen when the leader back then left town on a journey to see the Master, he came back to find the citizens had changed the rules and the consequences for self serving demands were dire.
