I really like this as coming from the progressive socialist liberal democrats that believe government is god. It doesn't take much to understand that a socialist democrat like Bernie would believe if you have any other god, especially an all powerful god like the Christian God, you are the opposition to his power to control and therefore the enemy.
And as we all know here in the trenches, the agenda of progressive democrats is about destroying the opposition 'by any means necessary'.
