Most of the young are without any history of knowing what is right and what is wrong behavior! But in many cases, it's not their personal fault, it's just the new norm ; to get along, you go along!
Their fault really is their total maturation was and still is in default to the accepted norm of denying reality as a way to act in a crowed, a mob. Shouting foolish slogans of which they have no idea what they mean, but they do it any away as they want more than anything is to be accepted as legitimate participants no matter the cause.
Acceptance is so important in the larger society of youth even it it means advocating and having dangerous behavior.
