''Fake News'' History From The Founders : An Audio Podcast Explains

Fake news is just part and parcel of the progressive socialist play book to regain and keep power. It is truly about the power to control and also about how to get it and keep. The foundation strategy is 'by any means necessary' which means there is absolutely no limit to what agents of the progressive left will do to carry out their tasks.

It's the progressive's  'new wave' ideology, found in nearly all the major media outlets, newspapers and or television, believes and advocates on a daily basis, that all things needed for prosperity and freedom can be obtained from a central authority.

All that is required is to believe and not question what we say is the truth. See how easy it is?

Can this woman believe she is getting the truth? Not a chance.

Right Side of History: The Founders Had an Answer to the ‘Fake News’ Problem
Jarrett Stepman / / Fred Lucas /

“The Right Side of History” is a podcast dedicated to exploring current events through a historical lens and busting left-wing myths about figures and events of America’s past.

On this week’s episode, hosts Jarrett Stepman, a contributor to The Daily Signal, and Fred Lucas, The Daily Signal’s White House correspondent, discuss the fake news phenomenon, the history of media in America, and current threats to free speech rights. Laws to regulate news are already on the books in some European countries.

The debate boils down to who decides what is truth, the government or the people?  Stepman wrote about the history of fake news and how the Founding Fathers dealt with it.

Stepman and Lucas were joined by Michael Gonzalez, a senior fellow at The Heritage Foundation who spent 11 years writing for The Wall Street Journal, and Rob Bluey, editor-in-chief of The Daily Signal.

Gonzalez recently wrote in The Daily Signal about how the “fake news” phenomenon is now dangerously being used by the left for the sake of viewpoint discrimination. Bluey was the first journalist to debunk Dan Rather’s fake story about George W. Bush’s military service on the eve of the 2004 presidential election.
