Immigrants in America should be about assimilation, not hate for the system. |
I think one of the first questions should be is, if you have been here for twenty years, why haven't you applied to become a citizen of the United States? More, why when you first came here, or shortly thereafter you didn't apply for citizenship?
Another question that should be front and center, why am I obligated to pay for your survival in this country if you don't want to be a citizen? If ignorance is a way of life for you, why should I pay for your continued existence.
Here's a good one, why should those that are here illegally, braking the law, shouldn't be deported, fined and or jailed? And this should apply to those that have over stayed their visas as well. Nearly 40% of visa holders in the country are in violation.
Here's another one, where are the Hispanic citizens marching to establish some kind of ground swell supporting the rule of law on illegal immigration? Why isn't their some kind of outcry from Mexican Americans against illegals that march openly for more support from legal citizens, this includes Hispanic Americans, especially when they outwardly demonstrate their contempt for all of us that pay the bills for them to live the good life in this country, but make no effort to join us as citizens?
Who are these people and why are they here? |
What are we to think about the true agenda of the illegals that pour across the southern broader by the 10's thousands illegally, that appear to be coming here if no other reason then to find some kind of life in a free nation where they are told and believe everything is free. Where 100's of thousands have died to make sure our legacy of freedom is a reality.
And what about sanctuary cities that use taxpayer dollars, including my taxpayer dollars to protect illegal immigrants, breaking the law by being illegally in the country, and then hiding from the law in these cites that are breaking more the laws, federal laws?
These are just a few of the questions that need and must be asked of our representatives in local and national governmental agencies to bring some sort of common sense relief for the American citizens that seem to have no say about who is coming into our country and what they intend.
After all, it's not just the cost to taxpayers but what about the pride in ownership as being a citizen of America. If that price is to high for many that lurk in the shadows, then maybe they need to seek other refuge, and soon.
Is the reason for immigration to America that much different now then it was for the thousands poured into New York during the last century and be registered?
Looking for a new life and a new country. |
