If you believe that our government is serious about financial reform, watch this video and then you decide. A true shell game played on the taxpayers by our government. Watch t he hands as they move the shells, the perfect sucker game.
Is this fact? What reason do these people have to lie? Check them out at the FDIC or where ever you like. The out come will be the same. We, as taxpayers, are still getting screwed. It never stops.
Obama says he's going after the rich to take their profits and give them to those that have no idea how to earn a living. But in reality, he is supporting the rich and enslaving the middle class to support his Marxist government agenda, income redistribution, and his political friends.
If you voted for "hope and change" back in 2008, and after you watch this video, ask your self, 'is this what I voted for'?

Liberal Environmentalists Seek Power Thru Misinformation
I think my use of the term 'misinformation' here is incorrect - the liberal Democrat environmentalists use out right lies to get what they want and that's power to control the agenda, this means what ever they think is best for the population. This also means absolute power over all of us.
The BP oil spill paints a perfect picture of just who the liberal environmentalists and the liberal Democrats are that occupy the majority in congress. I believe most of us knew who they are but the facts that have come to light in the last several days about the lack of oil in the water and just how much came ashore proves beyond a doubt that our government lied to us for purely political reasons.
They didn't care one bit about the environment. Let's see, 50 days of doing nothing to stop the oil from getting out of control. It's just another raw, blatant grab for power.
Let's see now, the BP executive that testified that this wasn't a big spill and that the sea would take care of it was RIGHT!! But what happened to him? He got fired and was vilified by everyone, especially the Marxist Democrat press. And who was wrong, everyone on the band wagon pushing and shoving to get in front of the cameras. Chaos and crisis should not be wasted.
I am ashamed of our government and especially our congress. Little wonder that they a 11% approval rating, and that's probably to high.
Lessons From The Horizon Blowout: More Hype Than Harm
Source: H. Sterling Burnett, "Lessons from the Horizon blowout: More hype than harm," The Hill, August 5, 2010
Only two weeks after BP began capping the Deepwater Horizon oil rig blowout, people have begun to ask, "Where's the oil?" The fact that skimmer ships sent out to clean the water of oil are unable to find oil to clean is leading the mainstream media to question whether environmentalists tried to exploit this unfortunate event by making it seem worse than it really was for political reasons, says H. Sterling Burnett, a senior fellow at the National Center for Policy Analysis.
Fortunately, the damage from the spill is proving far less than the frightful claims of environmentalists, says Burnett: The Horizon blowout has killed far less than 1 percent of the number of birds killed by the Exxon Valdez spill. And while we've heard horror stories and seen pictures of oil-coated marine mammals, it turns out to be the same pictures shown over and over again since wildlife response teams have only collected three visibly oil-coated dead mammals thus far.
It's true that about 350 acres of Louisiana's valuable coastal marshes have been soaked by oil; however, this is far less than the 15,000 acres of wetlands lost each year in no small part because of federal programs.
Despite the spill, the region's fish and shrimp have tested clean, prompting the gradual lifting of the harsh restrictions that had shut down the fishing and shrimping industries.
Environmentalists hyped the spill in an attempt to push the Senate to pass the largest energy tax in history. Though the Senate's energy bill had nothing to do with the safety of offshore oil rigs, the green lobby tried to link the two in the public's mind. Fortunately, neither the public nor, ultimately, many senators were buying it, says Burnett.
Unfortunately, environmentalists were successful in convincing the Obama administration to shut down new offshore oil and gas production after the spill. This was despite that fact that the scientific panel that President Obama appointed to recommend a response said that a moratorium was unjustified and could make a bad situation worse, says Burnett.

Obama Free Money Policy A Failure : Surprise?
Why is this a surprise? Anytime there is free money there is fraud. A total failure. Nothing can be created without effort.
THERE IS NO FREE LUNCH! Why is this rocket science?
Stimulus Spending A Failure Again
Source: Citizens Against Government Waste, "Stimulus Spending a Failure Again," Hawaii Reporter, August 3, 2010.
The nation's premier taxpayer watchdog group, Citizens Against Government Waste (CAGW), today expressed more outrage at the Obama administration's $862 billion American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA), or "stimulus" package, following the release of a new study by Sens. Tom Coburn (R-Okla.) and John McCain (R-Ariz.). The report highlighted the fact that some stimulus programs led to job losses, instead of job creation.
The report also detailed more questionable uses of the stimulus money, including:
$1.2 million for converting an abandoned train station into a museum in New Jersey.
$762,372 to develop interactive dance software in North Carolina.
$554,763 for new windows in a visitor's center that closed in 2007 in Washington.
President Obama promised that 90 percent of the jobs created would be in the private sector and that unemployment would drop to 8 percent, but the only positive job creation has been in the public sector, as private sector unemployment has risen to 9.5 percent, said CAGW President Tom Schatz.
According to Schatz:
The administration's spokespersons have been all over the board on job creation numbers, claiming anywhere from 640,000 to 2 million. Yet the numbers show more than 3.4 million jobs have been lost since President Obama promised to create more than 3 million jobs when he announced the stimulus package 18 months ago.
"While touting the stimulus as part of the effort to get the country out of the Great Recession, all it has done is help to create the Great Debt," says Schatz.
The 74-page report scrutinized 100 stimulus projects. A news report by CNBC highlighted the fact that the study spotlights everything from federal stimulus money that went to study the effects of cocaine on monkeys to dollars that went to construction projects that blocked access to local businesses -- which laid off employees as a result.

Bush Tax Cuts To Expire : Revenues WILL Fall
I know many people have given this some thought as talk increases over the Bush tax cuts that are about to expire. Just how much more can the population pay to support programs that are designed to transfer funds from the productive to the unproductive. How much revenue will be lost with higher taxes resulting in lost jobs?
Obama told us before the voting even started that he was going to seek 'income redistribution'. He told us energy prices would go up with his 'cap and tax' program, a form of tax disguised as rate increases. Where do you think all the money is coming from for the bailouts? Stimulus programs? More taxes but no more jobs! If people don't have jobs they can't pay taxes.
Many in the Obama administration believe that they haven't spent enough! Where will that money come from? hmmmmm - I know, more and higher taxes. More debt.
If you will remember, he told us exactly what he was going to do but to so many it didn't matter. Was it fear of being called a racist if you didn't want Obama? Was it self loathing for thinking prosperity was founded in wanting to be better than you are right now, while others were hurting? Was it that so many in our fellow citizens are just plain ignorant of politics and the real world?
What ever the case, it worked on a majority of voters. Now we have to figure out how to clean up the mess and soon.
The Limit Of Tax Revenues
Source: David Ranson, "The Limit of Tax Revenues," National Center for Policy Analysis, August 4, 2010.
"Hauser's Law" (named after W. Kurt Hauser of the Hoover Institution) states that there has been a close proportionality between revenue and gross domestic product (GDP) since World War II, despite big changes in marginal tax rates in both directions.
The law states that there is a kind of capacity ceiling for federal tax receipts of about 19 percent of GDP.
In short, Hauser's Law provides a simple basis for testing the validity of any government's revenue projections, says David Ranson, president and director of research of H.C. Wainwright & Co. Economics: Today, since the U.S. economy already suffers from a large output gap that is expected to take many years to close, 18.3 percent must be a realistic upper limit on the ratio of budget revenues to GDP for years to come.
Any major tax increase will reduce GDP and therefore revenues too.
How long does it take to fire up the economy once capital is more readily available? The answer is: Longer than it takes to close it down.
According to Congressional Budget Office (CBO) projections based on the current budget:
The revenue-to-GDP ratio could reach 18.3 percent as early as 2013 and rise to 19.6 percent in 2020.
Such numbers implicitly assume that the U.S. labor market will get back to sustainable "full employment" by 2013 and that GDP will exceed its potential thereafter. However, when the projections are tempered by the constraints of Hauser's Law, it is clear that deficit spending will grow faster than the official estimates show, says Ranson.
For budget planning, it is wiser and safer to assume that tax receipts will remain at a historically realistic ratio to GDP no matter how tax rates are manipulated. That leads to the conclusion that current projections of federal revenue are, once again, unrealistically high, says Ranson.

Mosque At Ground ZERO : Watch Jumpers on 9/11
If you think that putting this mosque at ground zero is a good idea, then think again after you watch this video of fellow Americans jumping out of the burning towers.
Is it possible that we can forget what the Islamic terrorists did to us? Can we actually say, 'sure go ahead and build this monument to the success of the terrorists that killed 3000 of our citizens, we don't care, we just want you to like us"?
Are we as American this lacking in pride and love of country?

British Health Care Gaggs/Bribs/Intimidates Doctors
I wonder what the liberal brain dead will say about this great system that the Brits have after reading this report, and then demand that we copy what they have.
It never ceases to amaze me that the mind of a liberal can look at stark reality and believe, in their black hearts, that it is something completely different. This has to be in their DNA - no real person based on common sense could do this.
MILLIONS SPENT ON DOCTOR "GAGGING ORDERS" BY NHS, INVESTIGATION FINDS
Source: Nigel Morris, "Millions spent on doctor 'gagging orders' by NHS, investigation finds," The Independent (UK), August 2, 2010.
Doctors who quit their jobs are being routinely forced to sign "gagging orders" despite legislation designed to protect whistleblowers in the National Health Service (NHS), Great Britain's government-run health care system, says the Independent.
Millions of pounds of taxpayers' money are being spent on contracts that deter doctors from speaking out about incompetence and mistakes in patient care. Nearly 90 percent of severance agreements hammered out between NHS trusts and departing doctors contain confidentiality clauses, says the Independent.
According to a joint investigation by the Bureau of Investigative Journalism and Channel 4 News:
At least 170 doctors in England and Wales agreed to such a settlement with the trust employing them -- backed up by payoffs totaling more than £3 million (about U.S. $4 million). Fifty-five of the 64 contracts supplied by the trusts to the investigation team contained gagging clauses; the agreements have to be approved by the Treasury.
The bureau discovered that a further 19 NHS staff who decided to go to employment tribunals after blowing the whistle on hospital standards eventually settled before their allegations were made public.
The widespread use of "gagging orders" against senior NHS staff that could raise patient safety concerns will intensify the doubts over the protection given to whistleblowers, says the Independent.
Campaign groups claim that NHS managers sometimes resort to intimidating medics to keep them from coming forward, while others that break cover can face years of expense and uncertainty before their cases reach court. The result, they say, is that doctors accept the gagging clauses in order to protect their careers and avoid legal wrangling.
Using Freedom of Information (FoI) requests, it emerged that 71 NHS trusts had entered into these agreements with a total of 170 doctors, although the true figure could be higher, as many failed to respond:
Twenty-two of the agreements were signed at the South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust.
Forty spent a total of just over £3 million (about U.S. $4 million) on the agreements; however, a further 31 trusts simply refused to disclose the size of the payments.
Another 19 health whistleblowers decided to take their cases to court, but abandoned them after signing so-called compromise agreements with employers.

Government Targeting Veterians / Retired Police
The Obama administration is leaving little question as to their motives regarding gun control. As I see it, the people are under attack in this country for anything that resembles personal freedom.
Disarming the nation is a sure way to bring the people under control, and starting with those that have the most experience handling weapons, the combat vets and retired police officers, is a good place for them to start.
This information is not readily available and there is a chance it is not true, but none the less stay alert to what you say to any official of the government as it might come back to you in spades.
(author unknown)
From a Vietnam Vet and retired Police Officer:
I had a doctors appointment at the local VA clinic yesterday and found out something very interesting that I would like to pass along. While going through triage before seeing the doctor, I was asked at the end of the exam, three questions:
1. Did I feel stressed?
2. Did I feel threatened?
3. Did I feel like doing harm to someone?
The nurse then informed me, that if I had answered yes to any of thequestions, *I would have lost my concealed carry permit*as it would have gone into my medical recordsand the VA would have reported it to Homeland Security.
Looks like they are going after the vets first. Other gun people like retired law enforcement will probably be next. Then when they go after the civilians, what argument will they have? Be forewarned and be aware. The Obama administration has gone on record as considering veterans and gunowners potential terrorists.
*If you are a gun owner, veteran or not, ***you've been warned. If you know veterans and/or gun owners, please pass this on **to them. Be very cautious about what you say and to whom.**
From a friend last month, at my VA med visit, they asked me exactly the same questions and I asked them why they never asked them before and their answer was that it is a new policy that they must ask all vets!!

Baptist Cowboy Rolls With the Punches : Good Humor
The Baptist Cowboy
A cowboy, who just moved to Wyoming from Texas , walks into a bar and orders three mugs of Bud. He sits in the back of the room, drinking a sip out of each one in turn. When he finishes them, he comes back to the bar and orders three more. The bartender approaches and tells the cowboy, "You know, a mug goes flat after I draw it. It would taste better if you bought one at a time."
The cowboy replies, "Well, you see, I have two brothers. One is in Arizona ,the other is in Colorado . When we all left our home in Texas , we promised that we'd drink this way to remember the days when we drank together. So I'm drinking one beer for each of my brothers and one for myself."The bartender admits that this is a nice custom, and leaves it there.
The cowboy becomes a regular in the bar, and always drinks the same way. He orders three mugs and drinks them in turn. One day, he comes in and only orders two mugs. All the regulars take notice and fall silent. When he comes back to the bar for the second round, the bartender says, "I don't want to intrude on your grief, but I wanted to offer my condolences on your loss."
The cowboy looks quite puzzled for a moment, then a light dawns in his eyes and he laughs."Oh, no, everybody's just fine," he explains, "It's just that my wife and I joined the Baptist Church and I had to quit drinking." "Hasn't affected my brothers though."

Islam At Ground Zero : A Nation Inside America
Great video on Islam and just what it stands for. Take a minute and think about what he is saying and how it relates to what you know about Islam and it's agenda for the Democrat Western countries.
Is this the truth? Is this just radical Islam? Will the nations of Islam fall into place if the radicals gain power? What is the true nature of this religion? What does the Koran really say about tolerance and freedom of religion and thought?
I believe most of us have little idea of what the war on terror is all about let alone the history of Islam over the last several thousand years. Try and visualize how you will feel if a completely separate nation is established in America. One that is outside of American law and tradition.
Take a minute to think about the consequences of foregoing rational thought.

Gun Control Explained
Just so you would have no doubt as to what Gun Control was all about, here is a definition to explain it.
Is this right or is this just 'mud in the eye' from the left. hmmmmm
GUN CONTROL: The theory that people who are willing to ignore laws against rape, torture, kidnapping, theft and murder will obey a law which prevents them from owning a firearm!
