Amazing! Just give this a minute of thought to understand there is pushed to eliminate natural gas power generation and coal fired power plants which produce more the 80% of all electricity in the country.
Even more insane, the demand for industrial and home electricity increase by more than 8% a year but the smartest people in the room say they still want fossil energy reduced by more than 50% by 2030 and gone by 2050. Insane!!
And even better, there is a push to eliminate Liquefied Petroleum (LP) gas so all cooking stoves, hot water heaters and heating furnaces must end and replaced with electric units. Demand
Just for fun, people figured out that to provide energy for New York City it would require a battery the size of New Jersey. And they figured that under the best circumstances by 2050, wind and solar will produce about 13% of the electricity needed in America!
The question that remains is will wind and solar farms be enough to supply all of our electrical needs by 2050?
