A brain is not required. Only obedience.

It's just the way things are and always have been in the progressive socialist liberal democrat party, now a 'collective' of the willing.

For the most part, a brain is not required to be a democrat, all that's needed is the ability speak when spoken to and then vote like you are told.

The accepted explanation for how the democrats are always able to rally their members in congress to vote as a block is discipline.

Many say it's just that they are more disciplined in their politics the Republicans.

The Republicans are never seen as disciplined. The right side of the aisle is always in flux and chaos. Many Republicans are not Republicans at all but they say the are for convenience. Olympia Snow? Susan Collins? John McCain? Lindsey Graham? Lisa Murkowski to name just a few.

In realty they are just centralist democrats ready and willing to cause as much conflict as they can and do. There is more then 35 at last count.

The democrats on the other hand know that if they are told how and went to vote, and they deicide to take a stand in opposition to the democrat leadership, the consequences will be dire.  Their career in politics will be over or worse. This something the all democrats know when they run for office.

The democrat legacy, if nothing else, is a collective of men and women will to sacrifice everything to be obedient and subservient to the will of others. Spineless, brainless and gutless robots all standing shoulder to shoulder waiting for orders. And this strategy has worked for generations.
