Economic Reality Drives Obama's Agenda Into Dumpster

Given all of this slippage in Mr Obama's approval, and Obama's catastrophic failures in every area of government didn't just happen, this was happening since 2009, and knowing what he and his party has accomplished in the last 5 years, one has to wonder just who voted for his man in 2012 and why?

Can it be just the disenfranchised that reelected him, and if so, how many more disadvantaged voters will be in 2014 and 2016? Take a few second about this, more food stamps, more free health care, more welfare and more Social Security disability, is this the new norm? Is the free stuff given by our Santa Clause government our future? Who will pay the bill with unemployment going up and the Clause government spending money from thin air?

Ask the question, how will more free stuff to more and more people bring our nation back to prosperity? In the election of 2014, think about who is best suited to stop the bleeding before you pull the lever.

Obama's Economic Approval Falls

Approval of President Barack Obama's handling of the economy has declined by 7 percentage points this summer, according to a new poll. Just 35 percent of Americans approve of the president's job on the economy, down from 42 percent in June, according to a Gallup survey. Sixty-two percent disapprove, says Politico.
  • Overall approval of the job Obama is doing as president also fell three points from June, to 44 percent.
  • Along with a five point drop in approval on the other economic issues polled -- taxes and the federal deficit -- the slide in approval parallels a downward dive in Americans' overall economic confidence that Gallup's daily tracking polls have shown since June, though there was a slight rebound recently.
  • On issues including terrorism and foreign affairs, Americans' slipping approval of Obama's leadership was consistent with his three point drop overall; on issues in which House Republicans are digging in their heels, immigration and health care, it was virtually unchanged at a one point dip.
