What exactly is free speech? FREE SPEECH IS NOT LICENSE! Does it mean that zealots can use speech consisting of lies, distortions of the truth to destroy you in a public forum? Not so!
Civil society has limits as to what a person can say and do when it effects the outcome of others in the society that common knowledge of other people in the society know it could be questionable or false.
If you say something evil concerning that person that will impact their position falsely in society, it becomes a liability in the public arena and therefore at least a civil misdemeanor! No can just heap lies on someone else without have to be held accountable!
We have to live in an civil society that is based on accountability!
Nothing in the world is free! There is no free lunch! Everything has limits and to believe otherwise just means you are both a fool and probably a liberated democraaat!
Please be better than that!! Live your life like it has meaning and direction for the good of everyone!
