Having the ability to choose one's own personal future is not a good thing as the smartest among us believe they are destined to lead the weak and horribly uninformed to a new paradise where life is destined to be all sunshine and wild flowers.

After several generations, no one will care about living a long life. True darkness is a good thing but even better when it ends!
Although that scenario in fact is true but for a different situation. The bright shine shine and flowers are growing on the graves of millions who were told the same thing over true past century or so.
